Hi! New to OH.
I want to thank everyone on here. It has made my journey so much easier. My surgery date is July 28th. I'm so excited. I do have a few questions. 1st about chicken broth. Best store bought already made or cube/powder and best homemade recipes? 2nd about canned soup. I tried Amys organic and so far I really like it. Tomato low sodium is amazing. Any must try types/brands? THANKS!
If you like a little spice, I really enjoyed Pacific Organic Tortilla Soup starter. I did it all through my pre-op diet, but found it a little too spicy post VSG (I'm three weeks out and tried it this week and it gave me heart burn) but I imagine soon it'll be fine. It is quite tasty. As far as chicken broth, I found premade in a box a little too greasy (both Swansons and Kroger brand), but the cubes were perfect. I kept them at work and used our coffee pot to make ho****er for them. I really never found a beef that I liked. As far as canned soup, I like Amys Organic as well. Good luck with your surgery!
