5days post up and back in hospital :(

Walking, drinking, resting.  That is my JOB this week. Even if I only walk for 10 minutes at a time, I am moving. I have diarrhea after almost every "meal" and will start probiotics at 1 week post op to restart the good bacteria in my guts. Until then, sip, rest, walk, fart, repeat.

The diarrhea is most likely due to "liquids in, liquids out."  Totally normal when you're on a liquid diet!

My insurance has already been approved and I will be seeing the surgeon for the first time next week so I am pre surgery.  I am so glad you are doing better and thank you for sharing this info because it is important for me to hear your story as it helps me prepare in case I experience a similar situation as yours.  I just found out that Gas X come in strips and you place it on your tongue.  I wouldn't advise anyone to take anything without your doctors approval.  I am just holding on tight and reading some of the stories here which is helping me immensely.  Good luck my friend!

Wow, I couldn't even get whole liquids until I farted, no food until I pooped...then when they were satisfied with that, and only then was I even discharged from the hospital.   I can't believe they let you home without being able to far.
