I agree with the folks who say Hanes boyshorts are very comfortable.

Go to Target and get the Hanes Her Way brand... they're comfy and not horribly old-ladyish!  Plus, they're cheap!  No sense spending a fortune now when you're going to need new ones again soon!

I buy my underwear at Costco. Gotta love a thirty pack of underwear.I am just joking they just come in a six pair package. One thing I will say is you have to wear the right underwear under jeans so they fit right.

Congratulations on wrapping towel around you. I think that was one of my favorite NSVs.

Oh the image of a 30 pack of undies.  :)

I'm hoping to avoid wearing jeans for as long as possible - they suck.  Shopping for them sucks.  I just want to wear skirts until the issue forces itself :P

I'm so happy about the towel.  I even took a pic and sent it to my partner who was at work.  :D  If the towel in the hotel I'll be in next weekend wraps too.... that will be something of a miracle.

I just had to keep trying different styles and materials until I found something that worked with my new body.  When I was heavy I preferred a thong because everything, no matter how big, was tight on my thighs.  As I lost weight I couldn't wear a thong anymore...I have no ass!!! lol

I've tried low rise, high waist, boy cut and a few others.  Some would fall down in my jeans as I was walking, others would ride up.  Right now good ole fruit of the loom is working.  It's not attractive but at least they stay put.  Soon I'll go buy some sexier panties and bra sets but for work cotton does me just fine :)

I bought the Jockey brand and I love them! I have had them about a month now.  I wandered around the store thinking I don't even know what size I need! my old ones were too baggy so I knew I needed more than one size down.  I finally found a package that had measurements on the back of it.  So measure yourself first, it will make it easier to find the right size.

Looking for packages with measurements is a brilliant idea.  Thank you!

I always figured that I'd manage without buying a lot of new panties because so what if they're baggy, right?  But then I realized that they chafe my inner thigh when they're too big.  ARGH.  Bagginess I could live with... pain?  Not so much!

Awesome NSV's Gwen!

I've always worn the Lane Bryant cotton panties, too.  I have all different styles but the cotton ones are always my favorite.  I started wearing Jockey cotton panties and I love them as much or more than my LB panties.  I got a bunch of them at Kohl's when I had a 30% off discount and they were on sale.  I'm wearing size 18 (sometimes 16) pants right now and I wear the size 8 Jockey panties.  So, maybe start with looking at measurements on a 7 for whatever you decided to try.
