Alcohol?

I agree with others that this advice best left for your surgeon. That being said, I would think it would be unwise to have your first drink post-op while you're out and about; if a single drink hits you HARD, you might end up missing out on the fun. Might be better to try a sip at home first so you can tell if you'll still be on your feet after half a glass of wine.

I was told to wait a year.  I didn't have my first drink post-op until last Friday night, and I only had one:  a hibiscus martini.  SO GOOD.
