Feeling a bit bummed out

Called the surgeons office today and told them I wanted to schedule to see the doctor since I now know I'm approved by the insurance company. The earliest they can get me in is October 21!!!That's just to see her, not the surgery date!!! Lord Help me to be patient, cause like I said I'm not a patient person. I asked to be called if anyone cancels ASAP!!Let's see what will happen.

You might want to ask if you can go ahead and schedule your surgery date before you meet with the doctor.  That's what I did today...the first doctor appointment available wasn't until the 14th, but they went ahead and scheduled me for the 27th and said I could start my pre-op the day before!  Can't hurt to ask!
