Appt w/my GP..

So I had a well check with my GP

I haven't seen him for about 3 yrs before I had surgery..

he left the practice and one of his associates did my paperwork for the surgery..

so he's back and I couldn't be happier..he's a great man, kind and compassionate

anywho, I ran into him last winter at the supermarket and I could tell by the way he was talking to me

he had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA who he was talking to..

he walked into the exam room..still no recognition, (he hadn't  seen me in about 3yrs)

so I showed him my before..

OH!!! MY!!!GOD!!! His reaction to realizing who I was..PRICELESS!!

and to make it even better he was so happy, so genuinely happy for me!

made my day, he had the biggest smile on his face the whole time

his reaction gave me such joy, I can't even explain! 

I said to him I wish I did it 10 yrs ago..and he said the important thing is 

that you DID it!!!

That is AWESOME!

I love my current PCP but I had two not so kind ones who I'd love to run into some day & tell them to suck it! HA Glad you have a good one!

Yay, Grace.  Some people do not recognize me.  Besides the weight loss I also cut my hair short and it confuses people.  It is so nice to have the positive reinforcement from our doctors ,  thier main questions always started with our weight and when we were going to do something.
