Call ansetheia and ask cause when I saw them on the 29th, back when my surg was the 4th, and then that day it changed to the 13.  I told the anestheia guy and he said nothing about it being to early.  The nurse Gwen said my blood work was good for 30 days.  You will probably still be able to go and just get it out of the way.  Lotsa waiting though, bring a book and 2 bottles of water.  Keep well hydrated and they will have an easier time getting all the blood (6 vials for me). *edited* forgot I need a new preggo test but thats it.

AHHH Annie I'm sorry this happened, but I guess on the up side it could have be worse. I would still get your tix for easter but only if they are refundable just in case...

Yeah...we did buy them, but they are refundable.  I wouldn't have purchased them if they weren't because you never know.  If they end up having to open me up, I can pretty much guarantee after four weeks I would probably still not be up to it.  Also who knows if there will be any other issues where I need more rest?

Hi Annie, I know you are bummed about being postponed. Sometimes things happen for a reason that we never know...You are in my thoughts.   Collette

Hi Annie. Just thought I'd add my hugs to those you've already got.

I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason too.  And you're right - it could have been worse.

Annie.. That's so fustrating to have your surgery postponed... and that you may not be able to go on your trip. My thoughts are with you as you prepare for surgery.  I hope I get surgery by the end of summer. Helen

Hi, Annie - I'm so sorry to hear about your surgery date getting moved!  I know exactly what that is like as mine was moved out a week and a half, too!  It's frustrating, but not much can be done.  Especially since your dr. will be out of town...  I'm glad your hubby was able to get his leave moved around.  I can only tell you that when I was just 10 days out from surgery, I went back to work and would have had no problem travelling at that time.  Of course, I don't have two young boys to worry about!!    Since you already have your tickets and they can be changed or refunded, just play it by ear.  You might really be ready for a change of pace by then! Hang in there - the 27th will be here soon!! Hugs to you...

~Nancy~

One week.  It'll pass in no time.  Hopefully you will be able to make everything work out.  Heck, I'm sure of it. At least it was only a week! Lori
