Is anyone interested in getting together near Milwaukee for support?

Hi There, I am having surgery July 25th 2007 is anyone interested in getting together for the first time in August near Milwaukee?  Maybe at a place of interest or each others homes.  I have a support group I attend thur the program I attend at Elmbrook Hospital but from month to month doesn't seem enough for me.  I am 48 years old, 320lbs, 5'4" and as I said above pre-op.  I look forward to your replies and support...Pam B. 

Hey Pam, I just wanted to say hi!  I'm not close to Milwaukee, but the MN board has tons of different coffee get togethers and everyone loves getting the one on one support and friendship out of it. Good Luck on your upcoming surgery....it's going to go faster than you think!

Hi Again Pam,  Thanks for the info.  Do you know if there are any coffee clubs going on near Milwaukee?  Also did you mean main board when you wrote MN board?  If there isn't one near me how might I go about starting one up?  I'm so excited about having the surgery the liquid diet I'm going on Wednesday isn't bothering me.  Thanks for the kind words...Pam B.  

Oh sorry, I meant the Minnesota board.  To get one started, I would do what you are doing now.  Post on the Main board, the RNY board, etc.  Good Luck, they are great to have to go to.

 Hi Pam,  I read about your surgery on 7/25th.  I also read about getting together.  I would like very much to meet with you.  I live in Greendale and there's plenty of places we could meet and talk.   I noticed that you have Dr Burhop for your surgeon, so do I.  What type of surgery did you decide to have? How did you choose it?  I have gone to the support group meetings at Elmbrook too. Write me.
