Any WI peeps getting DS??

Just wondering if any of you WI peoples out here are getting the DS and if you have BadgerCare/Compcare.

I had a RNY in minnesota  the begining of May and badgercare was my secondary ins. and they never asked any ?'s  and paid what they said they would in the coverage info I had got from my case worker.
I am almost positive you should have no problems with it getting paid for. You may have to do a 6 month supervised diet first, but check wiht your case worker to be sure the exact requirements.

Thanks. I know that CompCare covers RNY and Lap Band for sure. I know I will probably have to appeal it to get the DS covered. I just want to know if anyone is in the same boat. I have a MN surgeon chosen and am just hoping sooo much I can get this.

I am in the same boat, except I will have Medicare also as of 4-01-09. I am hoping they will cover DS!!

 Me! I have Medicaid/Badgercare and I was told that they will cover the DS! I have one more Dr.'s visit to my PCP and then they submit to insurance. I am going to Dr. Engstrand at the Bariatric Institute of Wisconsin.
