I saw a post op-er say that they were living on water, broth, jello and hot chocolate on their full liquid diet!!! Now, I'm assuming that this would be sugar free...so what the heck?  Does hot chocolate fit into the full liquid diet? I was completely shocked when I heard this, but is this possible?

Hmmmm, don't see why not. Of course SF is the way to go, but also check fat too. On ocassion I think it would be nice change! Melinda

Those you listed were clear liquid diet choices. My full liquid diet from my doc consisted of the following: SF pudding and custard plain or low carb yogurt strained soups SF carnation instant breakfast skim or 2% milk You can also add AnyWhey or powdered milk to that hot chocolate for extra protein.

It is a liquid!!!!! and It is nice for a treat and a change of pace but I dump from even the sugar free stuff.  herbal teas also make a nice alternative.

The Syntrax Matrix chocolate flavor is DELICIOUS warm and it's got 23 Grams of protein.  I love it.
