Hi Peaches I bet you are so excited. Did you find an angel, If not I will volunteer. I have been keeping an eye on you. When is your surgery date? As far as the question. I havent had to use either one yet. Although after last night I wished I had had some to try. But I will not overeat for awhile. love marie

the main active ingredient in Adolph's is papain (from papaya fruit)... so they're probably the same thing. It's just that you can find Adolph's at any grocery store....

I have heard that papaya works really well. I don't know about the meat tenderizer. I do know that my sister uses papaya and she is convinced that it is a miracle. Have a great day and God bless, Penni

It gets rid of the foamies and can help with that stuck/I need to throw up feeling if you take it soon enough!

1/2 tsp mixed with 1 cup ho****er and a squirt of lemon juice, sip like hot tea....

hi ya Peaches, not too sure about the meat tenderizer because i never tried it , but i guess it works because alot of people use this to help them if they get sick. i do know that Papaya Enzymes work for me. i take 2 chewable tablets and it works in a minute or so... it works fast.

My surgeon said Meat tenderizer is for meat and the papaya is for carbs and veggies, when they get stuck in the pouch.....I've tried both and they both work!

The surgeons at my hospital were all horrified at the idea of any WLS patient using meat tenderizer (it came up in our support group and so the surgeons were asked). WAY too harsh for the stomach they said. I used Papaya enzyme pills and they work for me - on meat and carbs. Caeli
