help freaking out!! need support
It sure could be stress/anxiety/anger stuff, by all means. I get that sometimes when I'm an emotional tangled ball
. You could also have gotten an exposure to something other than food. Have you had the chicken pox? (Just a wild thought there, but hey...)
Bummer, doesn't your doc have an after-hours/on-call number? Man I'm spoiled, I see more and more. My family doc is part of the Cooper Hospital network of docs, so there's a central number I can call after hours and the covering doc calls back. Don't they have something like that where you are?
In any case, if you get worse, please go to the ER. If you start wheezing or swelling, call 911. Do you have an antihistamine like Benadryl you could take?

If you're able to take a Benadryl, that might help quite a bit. It calms the hystamines that help form the hives. But, don't do it unless you know it won't cause you further problems. You might also try calling the ER and just ask if they think it would be OK to take a Benadryl.
Hope you're feeling better soon!

Benedryl will help. One of my past jobs (1996) was purchasing at Neiman Marcus. Not anything glamourous, supplies...if you needed bags or urinal cakes, I was your gal.
The second year I worked there, they started downsizing our wharehouse, and consolidating jobs. I started braking out in hives, everyday. Shortly after that, I started having panic attacks. It was all due to the stress at work. I was eventually laid off, and about two weeks after that, all my symptoms dissappeared.
Hang in there. If it doesn't get better, see your doctor for something stronger.
It matters not what road we take but rather what we become on the journey.
