Friday coffee talk

Good morning everyone! Time to rise and shine! It's WET here today, but it's still gonna be a wonderful day! IT'S FRIDAY! Our challenge today is to buy and ornament and take it to a single parent or elderly person that you know. Just a dollar ornament would work. You'll be surprised at how you will make this single parent or this elderly person feel. I have mine bought and ready to take to my elderly lunch buddy Ms. Mattie. She's 83 and no family around here. Well, just me! She's just like my grandmother. I love this woman. So go out today and get that ornament. You'll make someone's day! Who's up? What cha sipping on this Friday morning? Me? I'm sipping on Chocolate Mint Truffle (thanks Carmen) with chocolate mint cream and peppermint whipped cream. OK! So I was in a "MINT" mood this morning! How bout you? What cha sipping on? I've been waiting for you this morning to find out what words of encouragement you have.  My ornament is already in the car awaiting that very thing.  I got it at an exchange, but the whole time I have had it, I felt I was holding onto it for someone else.   I have Macadamia nut with Splenda and cream.  I have two breakfast casseroles in the oven to take to work.  Oh, I had to make a little casserole for my husband since he's home! Good Morning Coffee Man! I'm up, but not at 'em since I'm working from home today!  I'm making Kahlua Vanilla Creme coffee and the whole house is smelling wonderfully yummy! I'm technically off for the rest of the year, but that doesn't mean I won't be working since they can and will call me for just about anything that comes up! Oh well, it's all part of the job, I guess!  Time to get me a hot cup of that delicious smell!  Ya'll have a great day!

Morning Randall and Everybody. Been thinking about making some cookies but will have to shop for some ingredients first. Maybe tomorrow . Keep contact with my aunt (mom's sister) she is right up the street. Have my mint tea and just brought the baby down. Hope you all have a good day. Sandy

Good morning Randall! Yes, we have a lot of rain happening here in the Chicagoland area. Yuk! Just think of all the snow we would have had.  I've been so busy since I'm able to drive. Did a lot of shopping yesterday and enjoyed the day with my sister and friend. Today I've got a doctor's appointment; just a follow-up for part of my surgery - the hernia repair. I baked another batch of Christmas cookies this morning and will be giving them to neighbors and friends. I'm sipping on my instant coffee with FF hazelnut creamer. I know, same old same old. I love your coffee with the minty part. Yummy! Have a wonderful and blessed day. Hugs, Lucy

Well, its Saturday morning here and I am just scanning back over some posts.  I always like to read yours, Randall, you are such a nice man.  What a brilliant idea!!!  I am dropping my daughter off to work shortly, and she works in Kmart in the Christmas section, so I am going to go buy some ornaments and take them to the old ladies who are in the nursing home with my mum.  Brilliant, thanks so much for the lovely idea.  If I dont get a chance before Monday, may I wish you and your family , much love, happiness, peace and good health for Christmas and the New Year. hugs, Helen
