My hubby had rny in November and he drinks about half of the smallest Jamba Juice Strawberries Nirvanna - the one that is real fruit.  He has been fine with it but he can also eat one slice of bbq chicken pizza and lives to tell about it! Personally - I am much more cautious - I am afraid to try andthing from JJ or Starbucks - a previous bad habit of mine!

I checked the nutrition info at Jamba Juice for their "Jamba Light" drinks and found the sugar content was still to high for my nutrition guidelines (23 to 30 grams in a 16 ounce serving), so fear of dumping keeps me away. Too bad, loved that stuff, but alas, we know where it got me (on the surgical table!!)

That is what I was thinking the sugar contents was very high. Even though the guy at Jamba Juice said it all came from the fruit. I don't want to dump either.

I loved JJ pre op.  But after looking up the sugar content (Yikes!) I will not have them anymore. I just make my own smoothie with  skim milk, unjury vanilla, a couple frozen strawberries, and a couple slices of frozen banana OR a small amt of frozen blueberries.  Just as yummy IMO and WAY WAY less sugar.
