GT Xpress 101 grill sold by Cathy Mitchell on TV

Does anyone have one of these? I saw it advertised on TV today.      GT Xpress 101 grill sold by Cathy Mitchell on TV      http://www.xpress101meal.com/?gtse=goto>kw=Cathy%2520Mitchell I was wondering if it is a good product and if you really use it as much as she says you would. The items she quickly cooked certainly looked delicious! Thanks.

Go to Walmart and get the sandwich grill, it is half the cost.  You probubly wont use it much, didn't look to see if you are WLS yet, but bread is not something that is a major food after surgery, so that would limit it even more.

Kristi is right...I have a sandwich maker from Walmart that does the same thing as that does...I got it for $5 at their Black Friday sale one year.   There are much cheaper alternatives out there.  :)

I bought one when they 1st came out.  I use it every once in a while, my husband calls me an " informercial junkie"  I used to buy everything they sold on the informecials LOL  Everyone who commented on this is right, go to Walmart and buy a sandwich maker they are about the same. Peggy

I Have 3 .. THATS RIGHT 3!! Just Bought My 3rd One At The Good will For $3 This Morning. Going To Give It To My 23 Yr Old Daughter,I Personally Love It,,I Actually Found One Just This Weekend At A Yard Sale For $1. Amazing Huh?! You Can Keep It For A Long Time And Will Use It Enough Down The Road,,I Just Cant Believe I Found All MIne At The Second Hand Store.  I Saw The Original One At A Consignment Store And It Dosent Look Anything Like On The Infomercial,,It's Like 2 Put Together In One Machine,,I Didnt Like It ..I Just Made An Egg Omelet Yesterday ANd Was Good. I ALways Had A Hard Time With Frying Pans Cooking Eggs In Them Even The Non Stick Ones,The Pans Were Almost Impossible To Clean Afterwards,GT Express Cleans Up In A Breeze. I HAve Tried The Sandwich Maker And Didnt Like It For The Other Things I Wanted To Make In It. Even Tried The Omlet Maker They Sell At Walgreens For $10.Didnt Like That One Either,,I AM HAppy With My GT Express Maker"s",,lol,,Ya I AM A Informercial Junkie also,,But If I Wait Long Enough I Always Find Them Cheaper Somewhere,,Also Had The Same Experience When I Wanted To Have The "Jack LeLane Juicer " Machine On His Infomercial For $100,,I Found That One At A Thrift Store Also For $30, In Its Original Box, It Works Fine ... NOOOOOOO I Don't Always Shop At Thrift Stores.. But They Do Come In Handy..I Could Go ON ANd On On All MY Good Deals I Have Gotten But I Won't.. I Taped The Informercial On The GT Xpress Cause I Am A Visual Person, I LIke To See The Reciepes,Not Just Read Them In A Book....Anyway Good Luck........Wendy

I have one and LOVE it.  I personally think it's better than a regular sandwich grill, because you can't really put liquid in a regular one.  You can, but very little.  The XPress you can fill it up! I recommend it!  I'm totally an infomercial junkie.  There have only been a few things that suck.  The Sonic Blade for one...  don't do it!  lol Cheers!

Thanks for all of your opinions and/or advice. Sally, why not the Sonic Blade?  My hubby wanted to get it for me for Christmas, but I said "let's wait" since I really like my regular ole' electric knife.  Plus, the Sonic Blade looks so big, bulky, and heavy.  Thought I'd stay with my electric knife for now.  But I was still wondering what you didn't like about the Sonic Blade.....?? Thanks, everyone!

  1. I think that Cathy Mitchell should be ashamd of herself if she is selling this product on T.V. and gets people to call the Toll Free Number to order the GT Express 101 like I did, The Infomercial Toughts 2 GT Express 101’s for 2 easy Payments of $19.95. Sounds Good Right! I thought so to. I called the Toll Free Number and got a recorded order taking process, I gave them all the information they asked for. Told me about free gifts I would receive, Sounds Great.

I get my Bank Statement and it Says $83.65 taken out of my account for GT Express 101. I thought is is wrong. So I call the Toll Free Number and talk to a Customer Service Rep (Maria) I think her name was, I gave her all my information and she asked if she could help me. I told her that They took out $83.65 for the 2 GT Express makers. She said that was right and I asked her what the total was and she said it was $103 and some change, I said how can that be, she said, that i ordered a $14.95 Gift, which i did not, because I did not talk to anyone about this and nothing was on the recording. Which in my 11`calculations still does not add up to $103.

I then said ok then what happened to the 2 payments of $19.95 she said I chose the installment payment arrangement that is why. I said is not 2 payments a installment. She then told me I could return this and I would get my money back or she could get me a reduced price. I was so upset, I was not planning on having $83.65 cents pulled from my account at once or was a expecting $103 pulled from my account over 2 payments, for something extra I did not order. I am on a fixed income due to a disability and I thought I would enjoy using this machine. and with 2 payments I could afford this. I GUESS I WAS REALLY WRONG, WHEN A COMPANY LIKE GT EXPRESS TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE BY ADDING MORE THINGS AND MONEY TO A ORDER THAT SOMEONE DID NOT WANT IN THE FIRST PLACE OTHER THAN THE COOKERS. You can go to the website and get the 2 cookers for like $50.00 to $60.00 with Shipping and handling and not have all this problem. But NO GT EXPRESS WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ALL THE PEOPLE THEY CAN WHEN THEY CALL THE TOLL FREE NUMBER AND TALK TO A MACHINE AND NOT A REAL PERSON SO THEY CAN SUCK AND MUCH MONEY OUT OF THEM AS THEY CAN. I asked Maria and Another Person and GT Express to talk to a Supervisor about his problem. Did Not here a thing back I told them I was very disatisfied and was going to make sure everyone knew how this company was handling orders and screwing Customers. Cathy Mitchell endorses this, SHAME ON HER. Look for Blogs on MySpace, Facebook and anyother outlet I can think of to Make Sure people hopefully will think twice before ordering anything from gtexpress and maybe anything Cathy Mitchell endorses, Its just not the product but the Company that sells the Product.

Very disatisfied Customer in GT Express and Cathy Michell
