Crystal Light and Splenda??

This is what I love about OH.  You can put out a question and in a few minutes get tons of responses...they may not be correct but you get tons!!  My wife and I were talking about Crystal Light.  Does it have Equal?  I thought it had Splenda.  Did they change the formula?  Are there any no sugar drinks (non- carbonated) with Splenda out there?  Brian

Hey... how are you?  There is Ocean Spray diet it is made with splenda.  That's the only one I know about.   Michelle

Go to Splenda's website and you'll see they now make a flavored sweetner for water so you can make your own drink. They also sell pouches of pre-measured sweetner that you add to 1 package of koolaid so you can have a lot of flavors.

The pre-mixed crystal light that comes in a jug is made w/ splenda.  It's great!  I use it to dilute my protein bullets (because those are kind of gross if you take them straight).  Also, walmart carries Hawaiian Punch Light that is made w/ splenda.  It's absolutely delicious!!  I live off of it. I recently found an apple juice at the grocery store that was also made w/ splenda.  At the time I had too many drinks but I'll pick some up next time I go to the grocery store. There' some good stuff out there.  You just really have to search the aisles at the grocery store.  Good luck!

I have several flavors of Crystal Light, including lemonade, pink lemonade, and raspberry lemonade, in my cabinet and have been drinking Crystal Light for a number of years.  None of them contains sugar. I know for sure that aspartame, a sweetener, is listed third in the ingredients.  I don't see Splenda nor Equal listed in the ingredients, and I don't have either one in my cabinets. Equal is Aspartame....I've never seen any Crystal Light with Splenda.  Thats why I avoid it.....kills off brain cells....the ones we need for short term memory. So, if you are suffering some memory loss....more than ususal....and you are sucking down the Crystal Light....might want to change it up a bit and not take in so much aspartame.   ..just sayin'.......

I heard that Splenda tastes like burnt sugar, so that's why I wouldn't eat or drink anything that contains Splenda.  Besides that, I don't like sugar that much. Perhaps my memory loss is a result of menopause or anesthesia from my last 2 surgeries.

IIRC the ready-to-drink Crystal Light is made with Splenda but the powder packets still have aspartame.  There aren't too many diet drinks with splenda - do Wais****cher sodas have it? but hopefully that will change soon.

check and see if the Wyler's Lemonade is splenda. I'm at work so not sure but I think it might be. It is my newest addiction!

Lipton makes an iced tea mix in with Splenda.  4C also makes tea, pink and yellow lemonade with splenda.
