Alli after gastric bypass
I did previously take Xenical for one month, and I never ever had a drip episode, but I did see the ring around the toilet more. I think Xenical does a better job (blocks 30% fat as opposed to 25%), and I saw more proof that it was working compared to Alli. However, I think both are too expensive for the weight loss (or lack thereof) that resulted.
I would definitely ask a doctor since I wonder if it will work as well with our altered intestines.

I took Xenical. Basically, you just count fat grams and only have 10 fat grams at each meal. Anything over that would cause the icky, greasy gunk in the BM. I never had any of the side effects though since i kept to the recommended fat grams. After having the surgery though it wouldn't help us. If you have the last 10, then going back to basics and really being honest about what your eating is the way to go. Diet pills are not part of the post op lifestyle. HTh!!
