Hi everyone, I was just wondering if hair loss due to PCOS gets better after surgery? Ive lost alot of hair and havent even had WLS yet. Im starting to get worried. Will it grow back and is there anything I can do to slow it down now? I have still have 4 months of dieting to do before I can submit my paperwork. Thanks for reading.

I'm not sure yet if it gets better.. but I can tell you that I had thin hair to begin with - and I lost A LOT more after having surgery.  It has finally started to taper off a little bit.  I did start taking Biotin 2x a day - but not until the hairloss started.  Gotta love PCOS!

I havent had surgery yet so I dont think protein has anything to do with it , would it? But im going to get some biotin and see if that helps. Thanks for replying
