i've been thinking how ironic it is too, now that i am leaving the plus size stores, all the tops are the style i've been looking for/wearing for the last 20 years!!!  i still have 40-50 pounds to lose so tunic tops are still my friend! judi

Wear what your comfortable in. I am 32 and I love the tunics I think they look trimming. I do know what you mean all the closes that seem to be made for "fat" people are now the "in" thing.

Tunics and such, are a hit or miss style. They are however a good item to have in your closet when you are not at your goal weight, especially when paired off with a belt that can be cinched as you melt away. I'm not a fan of the leggings though, unless it's paired off with ugg boots or another chunky type boot. Tunic blouses with bootleg cut jeans earn an A in my style book!
Without the cinched waist you run the chance of having someone mistakingly ask you when you're DUE if you aren't at your goal weight!

I love that style of clothing, always have! (And not because I'm large, just because I like it! But it does help that such styles flatter a full figure.) But, if I didn't like a style, I wouldn't wear it, even if it was "in". I think that's silly. Everyone has their own style, and you should wear what you are comfortable in!

A Big thanks to all who have responded to my question about fashion.  Women here on OH  will always be fascinated by  clothing. My husband is very nice and If I ask him if something looks good or doesnt suit e he will tell me. I appreciate his honesty and he does know basically what styles I like. But I have worn things he didnt really care for and he later decided he did like it. I had some nice clothes that I grew out of and got rid of them, now I wish I had them back Thanks ladies I knew I could count o a lively talk.
