Is there a size difference between XL and 1X?

i agree with ann i think it has more to do with the "cut" than anything else the 1x is cut bigger through the middle than an xl the xl will make you look smaller - at least i think i was so excited when i got to a regular "large" that i went crazy buying sweaters - now, all too big kf

Kim, I just had to tell you that the pic of you where you lost the weight is beautiful.  You were beautiful before but now you are more beautiful.  Just had to tell you.  Anyway back to sizes.  I used to wear size 3x on top and went and bought a size xl yesterday and it is way too big....on the bottom I used to wear size 28 and now down to 12-14.  I am 59 and haven't been this small for a longgggggggggggggggggggg time.  It feels so good but the girls do hang so I just keep a bra on..lol...I keep saying I am not going to have surgery on the girls but I just might do that cause I hate the hanging down part of it....I am so proud of everyone going through this.  We all love ourselves so much and that is so good.

thanks for your encouraging words - the "after" pic was taken last september when i had only lost about 70 or so pounds - i know - 70 is a lot - but, i think that my appearance has changed quite a bit since that pic was taken - not necessarily for the better kf
