i'd say chicken or tuna salad, but be wary of chunks of onions at this stage, also no lettuce or tomato, (but JMO).  lys

Boy that is going to be hard to find anything to eat because you are still on the soft food diet.  I know at our subway they use to sell cream of broccoli soup.  You might be able to eat that.  Just take it really slow.  Good luck.  Tracy

Will your doc let you have the thinly sliced chicken or turkey?  The tuna has WAY to much fat for me to be able to eat it.  The turkey breast is pretty high in salt, but I can eat it.

It never occurred to me to eat _anything_ at Subway when on the soft-food stage. I suppose it might be possible, but you're off to an inauspicious start. /Steve

Thanks all! The family is headed out on the boat and asked what I want/can eat and my brain seized. I opted for the deli turkey and cheese, and so far so good!

They have soup -- that would work.
