Is this new or a long term problem? Crystal light can be a bit acidic which may contribute to the problem, and I just don't believe artificial sweeteners are, in general, much better for us than real sugar. Personally, all artificial sweeteners make me sick. If it's uncomfortable, don't drink it. I buy concentrate Montmorency cherry juice (very expensive but you use so very little per serving) and add it to my water. It adds just enough flavor to make it fun to drink the water and only adds a few calories.
Just my thoughts,
Ann
To my knowledge Crystal Light doesn't have caffeine, but maybe it is a new type or something.
Anyway, I do get stomach pain/cramps when I drink it full strength. I believe it is from how strong the flavorings they use are - because if I water it down more it is just fine. However, I don't drink a lot of it as I discovered Propel which is very low calorie, has lots of minerals/electrolytes and they have the one serving packs which are convenient.
