Can aspartame cause vertigo/dizziness??
I have never had trouble with aspartame before but maybe Ive never had it in the concentrated amounts before. I'm just frustrated and looking at possibilities
Yes everyone Ive been to my PCP. If the antivert doesn't help in a couple of weeks we will start looking for other causes of the dizziness.
Hubby just keeps telling me Ive always been a dizzy broad!!

Any chance you are hypoglycemic? As my case of this nasty business has gotten worse, vertigo has set in, and as I understand it, that's a fairly common side effective of hypoglycemia. Meds (which I hate anyway) didn't help at all. Managing my hypoglycemia gives some relief.
If you suspect the Lipton is causing the problem, why not just eliminate aspartame for a week or two? Years ago I gave up all soda (only drank diet) when my PCP suggested a link between headaches and artificial sweeteners. The frequency and intensity of headaches subsided substantially within a month. I truly believe some ofus do have some bad reactions to artificial sweeteners, me among them. I don'it react to Steevia, but...it leaves an icky aftertaste for me.

I suffer vertigo a lot. I have not noted it is from any certain things. I always have one aspect of it at all times. I don't do well in big wide open place (outdoors, parking lots) and in the big wide open stores (Wal*Mart).
Now that you have asked this question I will give it food for thought and see if mine is related to drinks/foods. Until then I will keep taking my dizzy pills as needed
