The scale can measure the weight of my body but never my worth as a woman. ~Lysa TerKeurst author of Made to Crave
I am 61 years old and had wls almost 8 months ago and I do have a lot of loose skin. I was most concerned about my face, but that is fortunately ok, just under my chin is the only loose skin there. I was very concerned about that before my surgery. Like the others on here, I would much rather have the loose skin than the fat! I feel so much better, and have so much more energy than I had before!
About ice cream....that is something I have loved my entire life and I know that is a big part of the reason that I got to be 100 pounds overweight....so I decided never to eat it again. Coldstone makes a sugar free, fat free ice cream and it is very good....I get it mixed with nuts. I also make the protein ice cream mentioned above and it is totally satisfying!
Good luck!
