Just curious -

Couldn't people say that you were pretty stupid for getting pregnant less thatn 18 months out from surgery despite the risk?  You have said in your posts that you did this deliberately, that you and your husband were trying.  Personally, that gets an A+++ in stupidity in my book.  You coudn't wait six months?

Couldn't people say you failed by gaining nearly all your weight back?  I am glad to see that you are losing it again, but why would I take advice from someone who has not been successful in keeping the weight off, especially when the advice is given in such a condescending, rude fashion?

Couldn't people say that your vitamin and calcium deficiencies could have come from a pregnancy that was too soon post op and then another on top of it?  That had to do a number on your body.

I do not take Flintstones personally, but I think that your attitude sucks and that you have no business coming down on anyone for not following the plan post op.

You haven't exactly been miss post op compliance.  It sounds to me like you bent the rules, paid the price and now feel a compulsive need to lecture everyone else.

You can guide people without making a special effort to take a nice big pee pee in their cheerios while doing it.

That is not about them.  That is about finding a convenient outlet for your anger and frustration.

I have no idea what you are so angry and frustrated about.  And I don't care.

I just wish you'd shut up already.  And for God's sake if you are going to play doctor, find a better source of information than frigging Wikipedia.  Wikipedia????   Hardly the fountain of knowledge and truth.

If you are going to act like a doctor, shouldn't you at least find an academic source?

Now feel free to go rant and rave about me.

Have you read any of my posts about people wanting to get pregnant early?

If not, check them out.

I *was* ******g imbecilic to get pregnant early out.  I freely awknowledge the fact that I ****** up.  We had great reasons for starting to try early (my mom and dad tried for over 17 years, had dozens (yes, please note the s at the end of dozen) of miscarriages, etc.. and it was told I would have the same problems).. but it was by far the absolute hardest time in my life.

And I own it and tell people not to make my own mistakes.  If you've seen a place where I've *ever* posted that getting pregnant at 13 months postop was the best God Damn thing I've ever done in my life, I'll do a headstand and sing the Swedish national anthem.  I'd offer to do it naked, but the skin rolls would blind me.  Really, check my histories.  Even check *all* the boards I frequent, including the rainbow and sunshine board of Postop Pregnancy.  Would you like links to my individual posting histories to make life easier for you?  I don't mind.

My first pregnancy killed what little reserves I had.  In addition, my sugar would *not* stay up and I was taken by ambulance for fainting at work on the Black Friday (working at the time).  Plus, yeah, I gained 60lbs from that pregnancy (and 60lbs from my 2nd one if you want to keep full track).

I have *never* said I am perfect.  I never will *claim* to be perfect.  Even if I thought I were (which I don't), I'd never claim it.  Find me a post in which I say I know everything.  Find me a post in which I say I am perfect.

As for my sources of info, I have *actual* medical journals, nurses that send me Bariatric-only articles that aren't even on the web, as well as actual, you know, books from libraries.

And since you don't care about my anger, I'll share.  I'm not an angry person.  I can't handle sheeple in any form or fashion.  Abject stupidity is reprehensible.  Don't like that?  Well, that's not your problem.  And since you are so sick and tired of my trying to help people, you have an easy Mommy button at your disposal to end the torment that I cause you.

Have a great afternoon.

No, you just act rude and crap on people whenever it suits you, and couch it as saving people from their "abject stupidity" .

People are allowed not to know.  People are allowed to make mistakes.  People are allowed to have questions that sound dumb.  That is the purpose of this forum.

Your using them as your personal toilet paper under the guise of being helpful is what is what is so reprehensible. And the fact that the owners of this forum allow it to keep occuring is even more reprehensible.

Because I don't agree with you?  No, I actually do agree.

It is because it is just flat out nasty and uncalled for.

And don't give me that Viking line either.  It's really played out.

I have no intention of putting you on ignore.  You don't really irritate me all that much.  I ignore your advice now.

I just felt like pointing out that you are hardly in a position for dumping on anyone for doing the "wrong thing".

I'm not either.  None of us are perfect.

I'm not going to get into the bickering that's going on here.

The bottom line is you'd be a fool for listening to people on a message board over your own physicians. If you don't trust your doctors, get new ones. Even if we've had the same surgeries, every one of us is different. You need to speak to your own doctors regarding your own problems. If you are concerned that what they are recommending for you isn't adequate, do some research and bring it to them. What will you say if the advice given to you here doesn't work, "Well, someone on the internet told me it's okay!" ?

Exactly.

The information given here should definately be used for further inquiry, research and guidance.

I've gotten some great advice about products etc. here that have been very helpful.

But I'd never take medical advice from anyone here.

Sorry Andrea,  but don’t make excuses for how you act on here. JinP is totally right, you do go looking for people that ask questions, and if you don’t find them, your little band of vitamins followers tell about it over on the R&R.   Your attitude does suck, sure I will agree you know a lot about vitamins, but you don’t know it all. Like you said you read and read, well good for you, that is great that you are educating yourself. But also, you are not medically capable to tell people what to do, especially in such a power tripping way.    And don’t throw your big swear words at me, act like a lady, and a little professional for once with your know how. The reason I know your attitude is truly marred is because of the thread you started, I think is was called, making a point. What, were you trying to get your jollies off, if someone put Down what you don’t agree with. Some of your advice is going right against someones doctors orders. If they put them on Flintstones then who are you to tell them they should stop them.
Also if you were that educated in keeping your body tuned, you would know about organic liver powder. My blood work has been exceptional in a long while, it took me a while to understand And get it there, but at 50, when the doctor says that I have Incredibly healthy eyes, well THAT is telling ME something.
I have such energy and endurance from taking liver powder
that it amazes my family. So just in case anyone would like
to try it go to this web site and scroll down and read up on it.
www.leviticus11.com    You may not be an angry person, but you sure like to belittle People, and that I think is where you get your jollies from.  I
know there are a lot of people afraid to ask questions for
fear of YOU,  so quit being such a know it all bully.

I do know about dessicated liver.

It has been found to have a high occurance of Hepaitits infections.  Got that nugget from the NYJM.  Kinda think they might know what they are talking about.

I'd rather not take that chance.  It's not FDA regulated, so you never know what you are getting.  Yeah, I like my liver.

As for the Making a point post -- that was for someone who could not believe that *anyone* would take Tums.  Check the history before you try to pull anything out of context.  And try to do it with someone who isn't going to give proof to such context.

I don't have vitamin followers.  I've never asked for followers.  I have people who agree with me.. but I can tell you we don't send out emails to say "YO!  Go yell at this person for me to show I'm right"

Well you must not know enough, cause egg yolks,
sunflower seeds and peanuts can cause hep-virus
as well.

Anything you eat these days can be lethal.  Liver
powder is so loaded with B vitamins and a host
of other good things that it is actually used to
clear up liver infections.

I wish I had known about it sooner, because my
hair started growing in again and my nails grew
at a rate that they were actually becoming a
nuisance to cut so often.
I don't take liver pills, they are made with too many
fillers and binders. I take Organic and put it in
triple 0 capsules and take 3 with time released
vitamin C in the middle of the night.  This way
I make sure it has no affect on what I eat during the
day.  I wake up vibrant and ready to go.

As far as the rest of the stuff you are talking about,
if that is what you want to believe.

So it's wrong for Andrea to tell people that there are better vitamin choices out there besides Flinestones because she's telling people to "go against their doctor's orders" (Which has to be one of the funniest things I've read on OH in a long time, btw. There isn't a doctor out there who would tell their patients *not* to take Centrum vitamins.) But it's okay for you to push your dangerous advice to take some fad supplement onto all of us?

That's both scary and sad.
