I'm cooking and cleaning this weekend--so the week's a little easier. So far, I made lemon pepper chicken, TVP "chicken fried rice", pumpkin cheesecake protein pudding, pumpkin souffles (Thanks for the idea, Shel) and apple raisin crisp.

Been kinda snacky all day, but in the immortal words of Tim Gunn, "Make it work", right? So I did-- it all balanced out quite well, and lots of yum, as always!

B: ProtiDiet Caramel Crisp Bar

L: Pumpkin raisin/craisin souffle with SF pancake syrup and whipped cream (killer!)

S1- Apple crisp (made with apple pie filling, TVP, oatmeal, cinnamon and a little real butter) and a half cup of cinnamon frozen yogurt

S2: Fage yogurt with caramel sauce, 1/4 cup fresh raspberries, 1/3 Kashi Go Poop

s3: 1 oz turkey jerky

D: 5 ounce top sirloin steak with 3/4 cup mushrooms and steak sauce

S4: 16 oz raspberry lemonade slushie

S5: 1/2 cup  Only 8 Frozen Yogurt with chocolate mini crisps, SF chocolate sauce, 1/2 scoop Unjury

Wow...eating 1200 calories means I got a lotta typing to do! A little carby (36%) but that's how my weekends tend to go.

I look forward to your contribution to the eatin' good thread every day.  Either you eat scrumptious or you 'have a way with words'.   Lots of great visuals every morning before work.

Thanks
Charlie

Thanks, Charlie-- I'm an unapologetic foodee from wayyy back-- I find that if I respect the food, the food respects me, if you know what I am saying-- I work hard to keep it both balanced and interesting!

LOLOL .. a gnats ass .. I love it.  That was pretty darned close to getting those shoes!!!

Today was spent doing homework and teaching for me.  It turned out really well.  Was interesting at church; they spent some time talking about how to be a responsible citizen without endorsing anyone or even mentioning any names or any of the bills coming up on the ballot.  Got a lot of people riled up!  Now I have to go write a paper before I can go to bed.

Eating today was a mixed thing.  I have been really good about the exercise.  Did I mention I started circuit training last week?  So much fun, but my thighs don't stop shaking til the next class starts!  The guy who teaches it is a sadist, he's fun but MEAN (and has an orange ball that he'll throw at someone he thinks isn't giving it their all).

Anywho:

B:  Nada - never on Sunday morning

L:  1C Harry and Davids super spicy chili without beans (next time I'll add beans), 1/2 svg baked tortilla chips, 1 oz ff cheese

S:  SF chocolate covered cherries (I don't do well with sugar alcohols, so why did I even buy these???)

D:  1/2 tuna wrap, 1/2 svg whole grain pretzels

That's enough and it's too late to eat anymore .. ugh.

Take care,

Janice

Life is too short to eat vanilla ice cream and dance with boring men.

Janice...that was one of my Dad's favorite sayings.  Along with stupid sum*****  He would say....

"Did you see that stupid sum***** came within a gnat's ass of hittin' us".

I miss my Dad.....
