Wynonna Judd is now a spokesperson for alli weight loss. I saw the commercial this morning during a talk-show, and she says she can use it "around her schedule," and I think we both know what that means.

with the help of alli, wynonna judd started a new, healthier chapter in her life. you can too.

What are the side effects?

You may experience bowel changes when taking Alli. Ads and marketing materials refer to these changes as "treatment effects." These side effects can include:

  • Gas with an oily anal discharge
  • Loose stools or diarrhea
  • More frequent bowel movements
  • Hard-to-control bowel movements

These bowel changes result from the undigested fat going through your digestive system.  If you are a WLS'er - DO. NOT. TAKE. THIS. PRODUCT.

Now that Glaxo-SmithKline has already been to the blog:  Let's get this out of the way.  MM Took This Product.  (BEFORE I RE-ARRANGED MY BOWELS WITH SURGICAL METHODS.)  It works.  I pooped my colon inside out and stained the bowl orange.  Tasty!  Mr. MM also took it with more, intense! results.  I may have suggested feminine protection.

Says Mayo:

When shouldn't you take Alli?

Don't take Alli if you:

  • Are at a healthy weight
  • Are taking cyclosporine
  • Have had an organ transplant
  • Have problems absorbing food

The drug also may pose risks for anyone who takes blood-thinning medication or has diabetes or thyroid disease.

Orlistat decreases the absorption of certain fat-soluble vitamins — for example, vitamins A, D and E. If you're taking Alli, you need to take a daily vitamin supplement (at a time different from when you take Alli) to prevent potential nutrient deficiencies.

MM,

I took Xenical (prescription strength of Alli).  The side effects were DEE-GUSTING.  I spent a lot of money and didn't lose much weight.

I also was one of the fortunate that took Xenical and YUCK!!!

PCP's will make us try EVERYTHING before referring us to WLS!!  Another example at how insensitive they are and the obstacles we have to jump before they see we really have tried everything and finally give us our referrals!!  Instead they give us RX for these expensive drugs that makes our insides hurt and well you can read the rest!!
