Do the small Intestines Die???

OMG woman!! How many problems are you going to come up with? How many more countless hours are caring & generous people going to put into your (and now your sister's?) problems?
Honestly, I am having a really hard time keeping all of your 'stories' straight. Are you now saying that your sister also had a revision to a DS in Brazil, just as you have said about yourself?
Why haven't you taken ANY of the advice that DSers have given you in regards to the multiple problems you post? Including qualified DS surgeons in Chicago. It is what, a 30-40 minute Metra ride for you to get downtown?
You have been given sage advice, countless times, over the past several weeks. People have asked you for more information, and you never respond. You just keep coming up with more problems, or even the same problems that you don't seem to want to address.
The interesting thing to me? You keep coming up with all of these problems that feed right into the widely spread myths about a post-op DS life. And, you've now touched on almost every single one of them.
Truly, if you, or now your sister are going through these problems, I am sorry. But you don't seem to want to help yourself if these things are true.
And, my BS meter is running just too high as far as you are concerned. I was on the fence a couple days ago, but now I am calling it: TROLL!!!
~ I am the proud wife of a Guatemalan, but most people call me Kimberley
Highest Known Weight = 370# / 59.7 bmi @ 5'6"
Current Weight = 168# / 26.4 bmi : fluctuates 5# either way @ 5'7" / more than 90% EWL
Normal BMI (24.9) = 159#: would have to compromise my muscle mass to get here without plastics, so this is not a goal.
I my DS. Don't go into WLS without knowing ALL of your options: DSFacts.com
We have tried to help you on the DS board, but you post inflammatory questions and then disappear when we try and give you advice or ask you questions about what your surgeon suggests. We have tried to give you qualified doctor names and advice. But you won't take us up on any of it. You just go away for a few days and then post more vague **** and do not respond to anyone.
Now you take this vague crap to the main board? Why, so you can screw with these people too?
You are doing your damnedest to get people riled up with vague questions and then you disappear? What gives? You seem like a troll and we have no patience for trolls.
If you REALLY have a sister with this problem, get her to an emergency room NOW or dial 911. Those people are paid to deal with your crap. If you have problems with your DS, go see a DS surgeon.
If things are so damn dire, then stop posting **** on a message board and get some real help. Like a straightjacket. At least it would keep your hands off of the keyboard, wasting the time and emotions of nice people who are trying to help you.

I had the kick-butt duodenal switch (DS)!
HW: 344 lbs CW: 150 lbs
Type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea GONE!
The intestines are NOT tied off. One limb carries food from the stomach and the other carries bile and digestive enzymes from the liver/pancreas. Both limbs are working and nothing is stagnant. Here is a diagram with a link to see a flash animation of the DS:
