That is disappointing! I didn't get wraps often, but once in awhile I did - I sure as heck don't even try their bread.

I think you can make any of their subs into a salad for a little extra... if that appeals to you?

Oh man, I am sorry to hear that.  I hate it when companies discontinue my fav foods!  I hate how subway only has the spinach and artichoke spread like once or twice a year and then they take it away, i used to always get that pre-op on my sub.  I know it may seem weird, but have you thought of bringing in your own tortilla and then have them make it a wrap? I know that they probably won't know how to ring it up right, its a thought though.

That's wierd cuz I was just in subway here at noon and got a wrap.  I wonder if that's being done by location or across the board.  I agree...what a bummer.  That was the only thing I got at subway and I go there often.  My dr wants me to stay away from lettuce as not very nutritious and full of water so salads are not a good choice but may be my only alternative.

How about making your own at home. I'm sure it would taste better and they have so many flavored wraps available now in the grocery store, you could buy different flavors to enjoy a change each day....jmho

I don't go to Subway so I really can not relate...I have purchased a Bento Box from amazon (eggface review got me hooked and it is great for portion control)

Good luck I hope you can change their mind....

get the salad instead - you can get all of the stuff you were getting in the wrap - it's just in a bowl with more lettuce or spinich.  I get the wraps too, but just peel off the tortilla anyway and eat the insides....it will just mean more veggies and fewer carbs....they will make the salad however you want it, so you can load up on the protein and choose the veggies you want!

Long before they had wraps, I would choose a salad of spinach with a cut up chicken breast. Actually a better choice overall. SPinach contains a lot of good things we need.

Over the last 6 years I've found many great products, perfect for a RNY post-op, that were then discontinued. Total High Protein cereal was one of them. Another was the turkey jerky I used to get at Costco. It was the only place I could find a brand I liked. I too have contacted headquarters, but without ever being successful--it's a business decision that is much bigger than my needs!

When I go to Subway I ask for one little container of the chopped up, pre cooked chicken that they use for the chicken subs. I then request that they add a couple spoonfuls of marinara sauce, a half slice of provolone cheese, and some oregano and heat it up. Very yummy and very little carbs! I never do bread or wraps of any kind.
