B12 and guilt
Hi C.
I agree with the other posters that your feelings over a divorce 10 yrs ago are probably something unrelated to a vitamin deficiency. However, a serious B-12 deficiency can cause neurological defects--one of which is how we process information. This can manifest itself as confusion, sadness, inability to focus, etc. . . I presume that guilt type feelings could be a manifestation as well.
Hope you can get some peace. Talk to your MD if you are seriously concerned about a B-12 issue,a s a simple blood test will assess your vitamin levels.

Hello,
Guilt alot of times goes along with depression. Have you ever been checked for a chemical imbalance? Depression can be hereditary, or rather the chemical makeup for depression is sometimes hereditary. Has anyone else in your family had issues with depression? If so, it may just be a chemical thing that can be adjusted by a doctor. You may just be beating yourself up too much over your divorce. I know for me, sometimes I have a hard time getting past some of the decisions I have made in my past, and they can haunt me. The "what if's" can really be hard to swallow. When I feel that way, I simply say a prayer and ask the Lord to help my mind to stop pining over things I can't change or "do over". It is no fun living in the past, and going back is impossible. Sometimes I just have to say to myself today, I am not focusing on this, because I am going to make the best of this day, so I don't live to regret all the time I wasted thinking about yesterday when I could be living today.
Hope this helps!
