Thanks to everyone that responded,

I now have a sense a of direction. I asked my surgeon in the pre-op stages about sushi, but we haven't discussed it post-op so I will be sure to ask his opinion as well.

When you do go for it ask for skinny rice. They will make it with less rice that way.
