Eatin' Good in the Hood . . . Simply Sunday
It was a simple, pleasant Sunday for me. The weather was cloudy and gray, but my plans were inside anyway. After a quick trip to the gym to walk on the treadmill, we went out to lunch at Applebee's (had some delicious chicken), then to see the movie The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3. It was great! John Travolta plays a wicked bad guy.
When I got home I made a new casserole to try, then watched some TV and paid bills.
B: Honey Bunches of Oats w/peaches and LF milk
S: LF cheddar stick
L: Chicken Margherita and veggies
S: popcorn (at the movie)
LF/SF yogurt (when I got home)
D: Meat Lover's Pizza Bake (I'll post the recipe later)
S: peanuts
pretzel sticks dipped in LF cream cheese
1 prune
That's all she ate . . .

Hi Connie~ thanks for doing the post again tonight. We just got home from my father-in-law's house. It was a great day but it started off a little sad and rough on me but I cried a lot and simply got it out as much as I could. I did get my nails done before heading over to his house with my husband and his sister. It was a good time....I just missed my dad so much.
So for today:
B: leftover steak from last night
a little leftover rice from last night
L: rice cake w/ peanut butter and SF jam
S: decaf latte
order of french fries from steak n' shake while I cried sitting in my car....
D: grilled pork roast (about 2 pcs)
bean salad
cut up cantalope
3 draft beers before and after dinner
S: SF root beer italian ice w/ vanilla custard....feeling a little
I will only have water for the rest of the night. Just haven't had any today. BAD, BAD, BAD!!!!

It was sunny and 82 today. Which, to me, means it's perfect beach weather. So that's what I did. Loved it! got halfway through a trashy romance novel and got a bit of sun (vitamin D).
Eating today was too random to recod. I packed too many snacks for the beach and ate too many of them. Haven't eaten dinner yet and if I decide to eat anything it'll probably be some leftover chinese stirfry or a protein chai tea. We'll see.
It was a nice and relaxing day. Felt good.

82??? Here in Mississippi our kids shiver and shake and lips turn blue in the water til at least 90! I can't believe how us humans acclimate to our surroundings.
