Has anyone who uses magnesium oxide noticed that it causes edema?

My hands have been swollen ever since I started the magnesium oxide for constipation. It works great for that! It could be just a coincidence, but I thought I'd see if anyone else has had this problem.
Thanks!

Thank you Andrea. I was hoping you'd chime in. :) Do you know of any supplements that could cause this?

Hi - a few months ago I was taking magnesium for constipation and suddenly noticed my feet and ankles were very swollen, I could hardly get my shoes on. I had a heart attack 12 years ago and one of the first signs of heart failure is swollen feet/ankles. I was scared to death. I stopped taking the magnesium and within a week or so my feet and ankles returned to normal and have remained normal. Yes, I think magnesium is the culprit.
