Product review ... Ped Egg
I am normally skeptical of As Seen on TV products, but my sister tried the Ped Egg and convinced me to give it a try. So, last night I purchased one from Rite Aid with my $25 gift card for transferring a prescriptipn. I figured, it would be free with the gift card, so why not try it.
They have 2 models now. The regular for $9.99 and a new one with a handle for $12.99. Since I have an ample mid section, and reaching my feet can be an Olympic Sport, I elected to purchase the one with the handle. Taking care of our feet is often difficult when we're obese.

I LOVE IT!!!
It quickly removed all the dead skin. It was painless, and effecient. When I finished and opened the top I t hought it was so gross that all that dead skin was on my feet. I was concerned I would over file and cut myself, but I don't think that's possible. You can barely even feel it filing away the skin. It was very safe.
I will be using this regularly to maintain my feet in between pedicures. I highly reccomend it. I especially like the long handle for anyone with mobility issues.
They sell these everywhere now, Wal-mart, Target, pharmacies, etc. The going rate is $9.99. The cheapest I found was $7.99 at BJ's Wholesale. The handle model is slightly more at $12.99. I have only seen that one at rite Aid and Walgreens so far. The extra $3 for the handle was well worth it. They also have replacment parts, when your old file wears out.

P.S. Thanks for the review....I had always wondered about that.....but I'm still going for my pedi's. Can never give them up!

My feet were so bad, that even after getting a pedi they were still scaly and rough. When I bought the Egg, I was amazed!
The first week or so, I did it every night, and followed with lotion. Now I can maintain smooth feet with egging about every week, as long as I use moisturizer every day before bed.
The blades do need to be changed every so often, but I love this product! My husband and I call it the cheese grater, or we turn the word "egg" into a verb...as in, I have to egg tonight,

I whole-heartedly agree! The Ped Egg is wonderful!!!!! I was skeptical, but finally gave in after hearing someone rave about it. Follow with lotion, and you're on your way! I love pedicures for changing polish, etc., but they always had to use that blade on my heels to get the dry skin off. Not anymore! I no longer need the shaver blade.
