Hairloss

Can anyone tell me when hairloss stops. I have been loosing mine for about a month and a half and im getting really scared. I didnt think I was going to loose this much. im afraid I will need a wig.

Mine fell out from about month three to about month six.

Sorry Tiffany...mine is coming out too and it was thin to start with. I hope it stops soon but it has to run it's course. I've heard many different things about how long it lasts...I think it varies person to person.    Connie

It varies for everyone. Don't be afraid of playing with wigs, they can be loads of fun :-).

Your hair WILL come back. Focus on excellent nutrition to support the new growth. If you haven't already, consider changing your style to a short, layered, piecey cut so the new stuff blends in better.

I have the same issue. I went this week and got a super short cut and dyed it red.. I figure if it is gonna fall out I might as well have some fun with what I got left. Everyone who has seen me is in total shock & I think it is GREAT to look so different.

Go for a wig that is totally NOT you style/color just for fun!

I have decided that if my hair falls out to the point that it is really thin ....then I am gonna go get lots of fun wigs in funky colors and really just live it up and have fun with it! 

One thing is that it gets pretty chilly in the winter in my neck of the woods so I can look forward to getting some really fabulous hats!

Its really how you look at it I suppose.  (remind me of this when I start to complain after my WLS will ya?)

My hair is already pretty short. I keep thinking if my hair loss gets really bad I'll just shave it! I make do rags and have them out the wazoo! It'll be winter time so there's always hoodies. LOL! Wonder if I'll really have the guts to do it?!?!?

Mine has been falling out for about three months now.  I can tell but no one else can (or so they say)  I too had mine cut short which I love and I also had it highlighted.  This gives it a thicker feel and really helps.  I have been using the Nioxin shampoo and conditioner and I think it is helping.
