Hey guys just a head up. Say no to pizza toppings. I know a few weeks ago I posted that I survived the night out with friends and that we had had pizza and I was able to successfully eat ONLY the pizza toppings. I had a lot of gas, but mostly I was uneffected by eating the pepperoni from 2 slices of pizza.
The problem is since then, I have been eating more. Before the pizza topping adventure I wasn't even hungry. I had to remind myself to eat. Now, all I think about is food. I had a 4 week stall that happened during my first time eating pizza out. Also since that first time I have been consuming pizza toppings at an alarming rate. Just two days after that first time, I was sitting in a gourmet pizza place, eating pepperoni and cheese AND sauce. I was no longer satisfied with JUST the pepperoni, but I had to have it all but the crust.
Since that first time, I have had pizza toppings (pepperoni) a total of 13 times. Tonight I stopped by Pizza Hut, since they are having that fantastic deal of any size, any crust, any style for $10. So I ordered a large pepperoni lovers pizza. I put three slices in the freezer, three in the refrigerator and 2 on my plate. I was only able to eat the pepperoni/cheese/sauce from one slice before I was full. But before I so neatly divided out the slices, I ate the top of the crust from 2 slices.
Clearly I am out of control.

You need to come over to the DS board.. There is a member over there that has the most Awesome low carb pizza recipe.. Brok is the guys name and his pizza is famous among DSers for its wonderfulness!! Here is a copy of his recipe that is from another DSers page.. ENJOY this pizza girl~!!
Brok's Cheese Crust Pizza !
Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust
Heat oven to 450 degrees
In a bowl thoroughly combine
3 eggs
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp basil
press evenly into Pam sprayed pizza pan or cookie sheet
(this makes one 16 inch pizza crust)
Bake at 450 degrees until golden brown (about 10 to 15 minutes)
Here is what your crust looks like after baking

It will completely lift off your cookie sheet. I patted the grease off of it, but that step is optional

add toppings of your choice
This one has the following toppings~
1/4 cup low carb marinara
1 cup Mozzarella cheese
2 links Italian sausage (browned and crumbled)
1/4 cup sliced back olives
After adding toppings, run the pizza under the broiler until cheese is melted and toppings are bubbly

This slices up beautifully and the crust is crispy and thin

Yes, you can hold it in your hand!

Thanks Sunni, do you have the nutritional count for this pizza?
And I will pass on your suggestion to visit the DS board, I have been designated as a DS hater. So from now on, I keep my posts DS free. No bacon on this pizza (sorry couldn't resist)

The nutritional content will vary depending on what type of cheese you use.. such as we dont use low fat.. but RNYers may want to. Also You may want to pass on high fat meats but use chicken or only vegetables and it will also depend on the sauce that you choose and if it is low carb or not. YOu control the carbs of this pizza where as at Pizza hut... well... You dont .
I was not trying to be condescending by offering for you to come over and visit the DS board. . We just have several foodies over there that can really cook wonderful dishes.
As far as the bacon.. that gives me an idea.. I bet that this recipe could be modified to imitate the Dominos Cali chicken bacon and ranch pizza that they have right now and would be SOOOO good!. MMMM MMMm... I lOVE my DS!
