Hi folks- Some of you are familiar with my baby (Wrigley) and might know that I adopted him from a rescue organization who found him as a stray walking around the streets of Jackson, MI. He’s only about 10" tall and weighs 13lbs, so you can imagine how hard it must have been for him to fend for himself. He has trouble with his eyes (“dry eye" syndrome which basically means that he doesn’t produce tears and, while a stray, his eyes got so dry that they hemorrhaged and he now has several spots of scar tissue which leaves him close to being blind), can’t smell well (function of the Pekingese smooshed in face), and now is having trouble hearing due to a series of ear infections. Not to mention that he has the worst breath (from several decayed teeth) ever discovered in a dog…   To my point! Despite all his shortcomings (I haven’t even hinted yet on his amazingly indifferent temperament) “Wrigs" is, in his own way, incredibly beautiful and I love him to death. To celebrate all the joy he’s brought to my life, I’ve nominated him to be Hallmark’s cutest dog of the year. I invite (beg?) you to go to this site and cast your vote: http://hhofdogcontest.com/dogs/wrigley-nov-23   You can vote once per day!!    Thanks!!   lara     (p.s. feel free to pass this message along to others you know!)

It makes a HUGE difference.  Wrigs gets them twice a day and his eyes are staying pretty moist!

Done.  He is a cutie.  My poor Pug has eye drops every night and is also on predisone.  These are the best eye drops ever.  They have actually improved his eyesight.

good luck with the contest!
