Peeling could be something other than Thrush...Have you changed toothpaste or mouthwash..does either contain Hydrogen Peroxide to make them whiter?  That actually could cause "peeling".

antibiotics can make yeast infections any place on the body that is a warm breading ground for them such as the mouth. if you eat plain no sugar yogurt that will kill the yeast. also, if you take a cotton swab and dip it in plain white vinegar and wipe it in your tongue that will also kill the yeast. just like a prescription med, you would have to do these things a few times to clear it up. yeast infections are a no biggie, just annoying.

You all keep telling her it is Thrush...she has said it was a white pasty or hurts or tickles..she said it was peeling.  Peeling isn't a symptom of Thrush

Hello all! Thanks for the replies! I have an appt. tomorrow and will have the doc check it out. What I did do was buy a new toothbrush, put some plain yogurt in my mouth and did not swallow cause I am still on clear liquids. That helped a little bit. It stopped pealing and is just white now. Thanks again to all! Love you gals and guys!

White spots on tongue is not a disease but merely a symptom that is seen in many oral conditions, some benign and harmless and some serious. For this you shoyld follow...

*-Gargle with warm water and salt.

* You may also choose to gargle with warm water, salt, turmeric powder & powdered pepper.

* Another choice to do the gargles is the concentrate of fenugreek seeds boiled in warm water, lime juice and salt.

* You must have lots of liquids, especially fresh vegetable juices & soups. You must avoid solid foods as much as possible.
