1200mg Calcium Citrate w/Vitamin D...
I was just wondering for those of you who have to take this everyday now where did you get it from???
I went to the vitamin shoppe today to get the things I was going to need after surgery and they only had one type of chewable for this...
I was told I would need 1200mg of this.. but the kind I had gotten (the only chewable kind) means I have to have 5 a day... hmmm... the bottle only has 60 in them... and that's only a 12 day supply for around $13...
Does that sound right to anybody and is there a better place to get these from?
Thanks for any suggestions!

you're welcome! =) Take a look in your area to see if you have a naturopathic doctor in your area. My insurance covers mine. ND's are licensed medical doctors that also study nutrition extensively and do lab tests that are very thorough and wide optimal range and actually look at the results instead of just the highlighted abnormal numbers most labs kick out. To find out more about naturopathy, my dr's website has more info: http://www.sacnd.com I am getting this test for my thyroid, http://www.thyroflex.com/drphil.html which my local PCP says is normal and has me off meds, although I was at 8 several years ago and put on Levoxyl before RNY.
I still say you need a good Endo that can do the standard TSH, T3 and T4 along with thyroid antibody tests and if necessary a thyroid sonogram and forget about a PCP and naturopathy. None of them specialize in thyroid disorders. They are all gimics. Endos specialize in this and deal with it everyday.
