OT: Begging the OH community to help (cross post)

Hi all,

I suffer from PTC/IH (Pseudotumor Cerebri/Intracranial Hypertension). My neurosurgeon thought that the weight I was carrying around was causing me to have this disorder. It's the reason I had the VSG and am part of this community. So far, my symptoms have NOT been resolved or reduced. So we're back at square one. IH causes dibliltating headaches, blindness, dizziness, memory loss, etc. I constantly have a headache....sometimes the pain is managable and sometimes it's not. Now, I'm not posting this for sympathy or to be an attention grabber. I'm posting this because support is desperately needed for the IH Research Foundation. They are working on treatments and possibly a cure (I pray for one every day!). Please read below. I copied this from the message they sent to me. I don't have IH, but I do suffer from daily chronic headaaches.  I feel for ya.

There is a poster on the DS board that I'm pretty sure has this. I know she had some improvement, but haven't seen her post for a while. Her name has Ocean in it, and you may want to post over there, as many don't come to the MB.

 I was wondering where Ocean has been too, a few days ago ..   She hasn't posted in a long time ..   I hope she's O.K.  

Thank you to those that have voted!!! I so appreciate it!! I will take the advice and post this on the DS board. Ocean was one of the first people I met here on OH!! I just ran across her profile on FB the other day in one of the IH groups.
