I can't find any info on this product here on OH... found 2 amazon reviews and that's it.. I was surprised because it seems like it would be easy to take immediately after surgery (16 grams protein per oz).

Did anyone use it??

Thanks for the response... I have my preop diet set just fine and have been low carbing for a long time now.. I was asking about this product for post op because it seems like it would be easy to have 4 oz of this vs 2 20 oz protein drinks to get the protein in.

It's collagen, thus a very bad protein choice.  In fact, this is worse than the "bullets" because it doesn't even contain the tiny bit of whey they contain.  Don't waste your money.

What Andrea said.  You'd really get very little protein out of it.

honey dont put all your energy on surgery please keep losing as much as you can while
staying healthy. I somehow got so severely dehydrated before surgery and it caused so
many problems and I m one month out and still feel pretty bad.
keep up the good work on losing on your own for now.     karen

Isn't collagen supposed to help with healing though?

Protein helps with healing. Collagen protein is about the least absorbable form there is, so go find some whey! You need the collagen your body produces; you do not need to drink collagen.

Google says:
"The collagen protein manufactured in the human body is just too complex for scientists to reproduce. The type of collagen supplements they have produced are made up of molecules that are too large to be assimilated and used by the body."
