So my question is after my surgery do you think I will have any boobs left? All the women in my moms side of the family have big boobs, and when I was 12 I was in a D cup (I believe) so I know it runs in my family...I really hope I have some of my boobs left and not just 2 deflated balloons hanging there!!

Ok so here is my experience...which from talking to other people may not exactly be the norm. I started at a weight of 299lbs with 44EE's and am now down 100lbs. and still have EE's, I am now a 36 EE mind you but am still a EE and looking into a breast reduction once I make it to goal.

From talking to other people on here, many have experienced the deflated balloon problem.

Best of luck.

They will be tube socks.  You will roll them up and stuff them into your bra.  :)

Someone mentioned tube socks.  That's been my experience as well...tennis balls in tube socks.  I started out a 44D, now I'm a 34B, but I have to "tuck" them into my bra.  I'll take that any day over that extra 220+ pounds I was carrying around.

I am also down 100 pounds and I haven't really been loosing that much in breast size.  I  went to the Lane Bryant in Harker Heights and got measured for bra size about 1 month post op.  I was in a 44F and when I tried on that bra it was amazing.  The bra fit me perfect and had my boobs sitting up perfectly.  I could not believe the difference once I knew the right size.  Well, yesterday I went back to get measured because this bra now is way to big.    She said I was the same size as before but I told and showed her how big the bra is and  all this gap of space in the bra.  She said yes it is really big so she had me to try on a size 42F and It worked nicely but to be sure she gave me a DDD and it fits ok but I can tell that I have not gotten to a smaller cup size.  I guess I will be in F cup for a long time.  Big boops run in my family as well (however I have much bigger ones)

I started out in a 42d (maybe a dd, I don't remember) then moved into a 38 DD a 36DDD and I am now in a 36 "see" ( I SO have to get that new keyboard today. LOL, still missing the "see" key) and am truthfully almost ready to move down to a B.

On a side note my husband says all the good parts are disappearing. No butt, no boobs. LOL. I told him he gets to help pik out the new ones. LOLOLOL. I'll have the butt and boobs of a 20 year old, everything else will look older than dirt.

I started out at 330 pounds and a 48 DDD. I am down 144 pounds at 19 months out and am now a 36DD. I was a 34 D in 7th grade so I wouldn't think I will shrink much more. Yes, they are deflated a little and I hope to have insurance that will eventually cover a reduction and Tummy tuck again. I lost my insurance with the other 270 pounds I recently lost.

And what's the worst thing that will happen if all you have left is deflated balloons hanging there?

I started out in a 54H. I'm now wearing a 40G.  I could *probably* wear a 38G, IF I could find one!
