Best tasting protien suppliment??
I need to find a protien suppliment but really am not up for doing all the trial an error as many have had to do. I know taste buds vary but I thought I might get a good idea of where I should turn to first by coming here. I would like to find something that doesn't taste gross, that has a high content of protien vs low calories, etc and isn't too expensive. Any ideas please?
premier nutrition, i love them, taste just like chocolate milk and great nutrition stats too. i buy mine at costco $25 for an 18 pack. i tried the powder you mix yourself and it was nasty but the premade ones are the best!

I am a HUGE fan of Unjury....particularly the unflavored...you can add it to just about anything...and it doesn't change the flavor. If you are mixing it in with anything *hot* (soups...coffee...etc) you will need to mix it in a bit of cold water first...to break it down..and then add it. I have not found it to be expensive...and it certainly isn't gross...as it has no flavor! LOL
Good Luck!

Unjury is the best, in my opinion. I also LOVE the Bariatric Advantage coffee drinks, vanilla being my favorite.

These are my reviews. Keep in mind not all are protein drinks (there's way too many of them to seperate them out.. sorry :-(
My favorite is Chike. YUM! You can get free samples of all five flavors at www.chikenutrition.com. My favorite two flavors are vanilla & banana with chocolate as a close runner up. The strawberry & orange are also good. You get 28 grams of whey protein isolate with every serving. Chike is delicious, mixes easily, does not have a weird smell & no yucky aftertaste. I usually mix Chike with water, but I also mix it with skim milk, light soy milk, almond milk, oatmeal, Greek yogurt & sugar free pudding to change things up.
Good luck finding a protein source you enjoy :)

I haven't been able to tolerate any of the shake type ones and I don't have a Costco near so I drink Isopure -- there are several flavors but I only like the orange and grape frost. I will advise you not to buy too much of anything -- I did and ended up not liking them mostly because my taste changed a great deal. You may like them all but I wouldn't spend a lot of money until you know what you like.
If you like a lot of flavour I'd go with Nectar (most popular Crystal Sky and Fuzzy Navel) but if I'd recommend About Time's Birthday Cake flavour!!!
