OT- to the person that sent me the gift box

This is terribly embarrassing, but someone from OH sent me a package with lots of goodies.  I got clothing, including a really nice jacket, and a bunch of healthy food items.  I had a PM from the person that sent it and thought I had saved it so I could send them a message thanking them when it arrived.  But apparently I deleted it and now I cannot remember their user name so I can't PM them.

So hopefully they will see this message.  I appreciate it so much.  It was a BIG box.  My nephew was all excited to see what was in it.  There was a bottle of ranch dressing with NO calories!  How do they even do that?  Well, my nephew loves ranch dressing and puts it on all kinds of stuff and he was all excited over that.  So thank you very much, it was a wonderful thing to come home to.

While I wasn't the one to send the box, I have to say that this is one aspect of this community that I find absolutely delightful. I've sent out goody boxes, but nowhere near as many as I have received. I love the people on this site who are so generous and giving of their time...and sometimes their goodies.

Same here.  Someone once sent me a brand new glucometer for my partner because he needed one and we just could not afford it.  I saw the same one for sale online for $80!  She would not even allow me to pay for the shipping.  I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am.

I have sent people things too and I try to always be generous with my time and things I have that I don't need.  But sometimes I'm just amazed by how giving some people are.

That is awfully kind - and you know what - you already pay it forward that's probably why you got it.

There are some wonderful people on this message board, including you.  You help lots of people, Kelly.  The universe is returning some of the love that you've given to others.

Wishing continued blessings to you and also to your kind benefactor.

Twas not I who sent it but I have been the recipient (even though I live in Israel) of protein powder and a Blender Bottle. The powder was mailed to an address in the U.S. and friends from my town who were visiting brought it back and the BB was mailed to me.
Every gift, may it be physiacally tangible or just emotional support -is always very much appreciated!
I have friends who will be visiting the U.S. (Baltimore) again in November.

It wasn't me either, but I have warm fuzzies hearing of this persons generosity.

All of us *****ad this, should go "pay it forward" to some random person. How fun.

You know, I always do try to pay it forward.  And it's really fun to do something really nice for someone and to be able to do it.  I've always said, if I every won the lottery (which I guess will never happen since I never buy a ticket), I would go up to some homeless person on the street and hand them several thousand dollars.  Wouldn't that be so fun?

Couldn't have happened to a nicer person. I would like to thank the person too. That was very nice.
