It also took me a long time to adjust emotionally, and even now I have trouble understanding that I am not the same in appearance or mind-set.  Recently, I decided that since I had not been SMO for almost nine years, I should (in a sense) let it all go, and stop thinking of myself as a recovered fatty LOL.

It's also a little overwhelming to think that he is, JUST NOW, processing that something is different!

My hubby is a scientist, his father and his grandfather are/were scientists. He come from a long line of geekiness. LOL. That sounds like something he would say. Truly, It sounds to me like he loves you for who you are, not what size of package you come in. Take it as a complement.

LOL. I think geek must be in the Gene's! It'll be interesting to see if either of my two girls decide to travel the science route.
