Need advice on optifast and side effects

thanks so much for your replies.  I don't think I am allergic to milk.  I have been drinking it all my life with no problem.  I do take a lot of aspartame.  Maybe this is the problem.   I will check the other things you mentioned.  thanks so much, I really appreciate it.  Maggie

In Manitoba we have to drink Meditrim shakes which are basically the same thing. One girl was allergic to the soy in them and had to go on something different.

Address your fluid loss first! Stop doing Optifast and go to clear fluids until the diarhhea stops. Call your M.D.! Good luck!

Good grief.....This has got me scared because I  will have to do Optifast for my pre-op diet (required) and I sure hate to go thru this!!! Good luck and I hope it gets better.
