Sounds very familiar to me. Once I started feeling more mobility I was getting more pain in the left lower quadrant. Like a pulled muscle. Well actually, it is muscular. At my post op appointment the Nurse told me that it's because of the torquing tool they use in that area. And that it was ok.
She advised me to make sure to feel my incisions and abdomen, if they felt warm - which would suggest infection.
This is my experience ....

Thanks for your responses. I am feeling much better this morning. I thought that I had probably just did a little too much yesterday. I hadn't been hurting much til yesterday but I guess i am doing more now so that makes sense....My family was more worried than I was. I just wanted to get some opinions...

Tracy,
I had slight lower left side pain as well. The pain got really bad when I over did it at the gym. I also felt the pain in my side when I returned to work and had to get used to "sitting" all the time at my desk job. The pain does go away. If you ever think it could be something serious, just call your doctor's office or go to the ER. I think you just overdid it and should be fine. Congrats on your surgery!

I will definitely keep a watchful eye on it. It feels like a muscle cramp so I know it's nothing serious. My temp in like 97.7 so no fever and I feel fine too...It really only hurts when I move..I think if I had a leak I would be in constant pain..Thanks for the response. I appreciate it very much.
