How much protein is in it? or sodium?

How about some soft scrambled egg, cottage cheese or greek yogurt?

HI,

Well, each person is different. So, try a spoon full or two and see how you do.  At this stage, your body will pretty much dictate what it wants.  So listen and learn.  It's an awesome journey!!

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

best to strain out the solids.  Onions can be difficult to digest.

You can have it strained, without any chunks of onion.

Not sure about Campbell's, but I've had French onion soup out at restaurants since just a couple weeks out. I would order it with no croutons and then eat just the melted cheese and the broth and leave the actual onions at the bottom of the bowl.

I ate it but not the onions, just the broth. Great different taste and didnt have a problem. I didnt venture to eat the actual onions though, they are high in carbs and hard to digest I am told. Good luck.

French Onion Soup was my "go-to" meal when I went out to eat with friends.  I don't see how a few tablespoons of Campbell's can hurt you.  The onions are so soft as to be non-existent, and the flavor is nice.  You can only eat a few ounces anyway.  Enjoy!!
