What is your Surgeon's policy on follow up visits? Mine has yearly visits after the first year for life.

Your best bet would be to call them schedule an appointment and just express your concerns and see what he has to say.

It's very, very rare for any doctor's office to "chase" patients. It's our own responsibility to get regular checkups for any and all health issues, and that includes WLS related stuff. No WLS is a set it and forget it thing.

Call your surgeon and schedule a check up.  Are you having any problems/pains?  Your surgeon can test to be sure your band is working properly.

I would call your physician/physician's group and see what their follow-up policy is or contact your physician and voice these concerns.   I was seen very often in follow-up the first year because of post op complication ... then I was seen every 2-3 months the remainder of the first 18 months and progressed to yearly follow-up for life.  I make it a point to have yearly follow-ups with my PCP also.

I hope you get answers to all your questions and that everythings turns out well for you.... sending positive thoughts for positive outcomes ...

When was your last adjustment (fill or unfill) and was it done under fluoroscopy?
