Family with selective hearing..

The Kidney thing just may be your answer. If you can sell one to your surgeon than It will cover the cost of the surgery. I heard they do it in India all the time. Just wondering.

The Italians are notorious for hyping up the drama about everything, God love em...but if they are your family, it can be exhausting and exasperating!  One of our extended family members (she is gone now, so will name her for impact) Nella Volpe, told me when I was 19 "...you got fat!"  I the smart ass 19 yr old (who was 140 lbs) replied right back "...you got rude!".  Sometimes a does of their own medicine goes a long way towards shutting them up.

I wish you luck getting through Easter with the family.. I'm going to be breaking the news to my folks tomorrow.. kinda on edge about that one. I told the friends, but not the family- they really aren't too savvy about this stuff.. mom freaked when her friend had the bypass and I mentioned I'd love to have WLS.. going on about how little she can now eat.. yeah, uh mom- look at me? I'm close to 300lbs.. I think I can afford to cut back a tad!
